My 1991 Oldsmobile 88 Royale has a loud Clunk in the front end drivers side when I turn left or right. It only happens when I''m sitting still and turning the wheel or going very slow turning a corner. It will sometimes pull to the left real hard but not always. I jacked it up and checked the Ball Joint & Tie Rod, they''re dry but tight. Anyone have any ideas what could be doing this? I can''t afford to take it to a shop so I have to do the repairs myself and would like to narrow it down some.

something to check would be your front struts. they mount in a sort of bearing/socket above the coil spring. ive seen several different makes of cars that sometimes have dry bearings or bushings there that can pop or squeak when turning or taking slow bumps
