Ok so let me start off by saying this is not my car is for a coworker. Here is the info I gathered from him

Someone told him his air injector pump was broken. Symptoms are: vehicle smoking from rear of motor, greyish/bblue smoke will enter cabin if hood is not open.

Upon starring vehicle has to sit with gas floored to keep vehicle running sound like a tractor. Lack of power until warmed up slow movement.

His girlfriends dad is a non certified mechanic and told them just to keep driving it and changed fuel filter any other diagnosis based upon what you've read? He wants to just trash this vehicle but his girlfriend does not want hon to.
