Default using dual point mallory dist..

i had to put a new harness in my 86 gbody, i used one from a 79 gbody, most colors r the same but now im to the part of hooking up the distrubutor. ive got a mallory dual point setup using the MSD blaster 2 coil, i purchased the resistor for these parts to work together but im not sure what wire is considered to be the original coils neg. from points to amplifier trigger..?? just looking at the instructions the blaster 2 coil i have to use says for it togo there but the schematic for the harness dosnt have a wire with that label.. i assume the other side of the aftermarket coil (positive) is suppose to go to my pink wire on the cars harness because the diagram said that wire went to the stock distributor and the directions with the coil are not very clear to me..
i am a first timer with an engine swap, so all suggestions, advice, & critics are welcome..
