I am completing the total frame-off restoration of a numbers matching 1971 442 convertible. Everything is now done except the application of all of the decals that go under the hood, in the trunk and on the edges of the doors and door posts. I am looking for help for the placement of these decals:
"Tire Pressure" decal
OE 455 CUin 4 BBL carb "Emission Control Information"
"Never Open Hot" round decal for the radiator
GM "Windshield Washer, Antifreeze and Gas Line De-Icer" decal
"Anti-Spin "decal
"Caution This collong system protected to ___F.
"Engine Cooling System" decal
"Keep your GM car all GM" decal
"AC Spark Plug/ Air Cleaner Service" instructions
Trunk: "Caution-Follow these Jack Instructions" decal
Trunk: "Jack Stowage" decal
Square metal blue and silver "GM Mark of Excellence" decal

Hey, I can''t help you with your problems, but I''m sure you can help me....I need a measurement to install my console / shifter in my 70 442 clone, it did not have a floor shift so I am not sure on exact location...can you take a measurement for me to the front of the console or shifter so when I bolt down the shifter everything is per factory locations...the shift cable is made up so it will work in any location (I think), so just need to know give-or-take measurements....Thanks
