it sounds like a nice car...do you have any pictures?

not yet but I am going back on monday to drive the car

I will probably buy it.

My problem is knowing if I shold buy a car that is not original.

It would not take much to bring it back to stock, but it looks really cool.

The guy has done about 50 frame offs, and this was the very last one he did, and he did it for himself. by the time he was done he was 82

and just to old to drive it. it has 5 miles on it since it was completed.

I looked real well and it looks new from the ground up.

if all that is wrong is paint and interior, I would take it. matching#'s is the key.

Thank you for the input,

I bought it last night and brought it home

It's a great car and a lot of fun

If you get a chance post some pic's of your ride. I would love to
see it. Working on a 68 myself. Dad finally shipped car not to
bad of a shape. But the car came from Hawaii. So you know
how that goes (salt air).

If you can buy an original '68 Oldsmobile 442 with the original numbers matching 400 for 12,900 then someone would be stupid not to. A car like that easily brings in about 20k. Just my input. Edited by: griz_83ho
