Need some measurements please. I am restoring a 1968 Oldsmobile Delmont 88 with a 455. They only made these 1967 and -68. I am using the front seats and automatic floor shifter and console from a 1967 olds 442. Can someone measure from the fire wall where it meets the floor back to where the shift cable should go thru the floor and also how far back to where the front of the console should be ? John, I have '67 442 with Auto and bucket seats. I am not sure I understand the measurement you are wanting.

hi Jeff and thank you. Measure anywhere that we can determine about how many inches back from the firewall the hole should be for the shifter cable ? And maybe from the firewall straight back to where the front of the console should be and approximately the back or end of the console. Just a ballpark measurement so I know where I should drill the hole for the shift cable and where the console should end up being mounted. Thank you. John
