My fully restored 1976 Cutlass 442, burgundy over white, was stolen last night from a locked, secured storage facility. It appears to have been a random find for the thieves. The car was not locked but there were no keys there. After getting the car out of the unit, they crashed through a fence with the car.

I have owned this car since 1976. I brought my children home from hospital in the car. My oldest son drove the car when he turned 16 - at age 20 he was killed. I restored the car in his memory. It's not worth a lot of money but it's sentimental value is huge to me.

Please, please if you see anyone trying to sell my car or parts that appear to be from my car, contact me or the Fort Worth Police Department at 817.335.4222.

I'll post a picture as soon as I figure out how to on this forum. I just want to get this info out as soon as possible.

WE FOUND MY CAR! It appears to be in OK condition (not wrecked, burned, or stripped)...it was impounded by the FWPD, so it will probably be Monday before we can get it since it was stolen.
