i found this 442 near my house. its been sitting for 3 years now. it has a solid body with not water damage in any of the windows. its a 4 speed. the interior is in very good condition. what should i ask the guy for this car?

What year? Looks like a '69.

If it runs, I'd go for $5000.
You're gonna need another $5000 for paint & rust curing.

 

If the guy knws anything about these things he won't take anything less than $10,000. An original 69 442 400/4sp combo is worth some coin.





The body doesn't look all that bad. Things can hide underneath though.





Try and offer $5,000 and see where it goes. But I know what I wouldn't let it go for.

 

For $5000 I would go for it. Good investment material. Good luck to you!
