I AM NOT WELL VERSED ON THIS SUBJECT BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE A BAD CONNECTION IN THE FUSE BLOCK. ?? MAYBE A GROUNDING PROBLEM...ANY PROBLEM WITH HEAD LIGHTS?

GM had a recall on thehazard switch but they didn't have the recall on the 2002s. It sounds like the switch to me though.
