01 Alero crank but wont start

01 Alero 3.4 V6 cranks but wont start:confused::confused::confused:

tested fuel pressure and was good (roughly 50 PSI)

battery is good and cranks strong.

im considering putting in a new fuel pump because even though the fuel pressure was good when i had checked it, i don't hear the pump cycling. I know this sounds strange and i might test it again just to be sure. It may be that the pump is only working intermittently and i got a false reading.

I replaced the fuel pump relay and made sure the fuse was good.

Another option is the electrical system. but i doubt this is the solution being that i have recently replaced the plugs and wires. Maybe the ignition coil?

Anyone know how to test the ignition coils (i believe there are 3 of them?) with a multi-meter?

Im just throwing some ideas out there, I'm really hoping you guys have some direction for me before i drop the tank. I have a very small garage and am working with jacks/jack stands. No lift..... pain in the asssss!

Thanks for the help in advance. First time poster, hoping you can lend a hand to a relatively capable home mechanic,

THANKS!
