01 Alero crank but wont start
 

-Recently replaced fuel pump
-battery is charged and good
-security light isn't on or flashing

The car turns over strong and sometimes might sputter once or twice as though it wants to start but never does.

I'm currently stranded in a parking lot trying to figure this out.

Please someone give me something to go on. I'm a very apt amateur mechanic and cannot understand why this is happening. Especially after replacing the fuel pump 2 weeks ago. It seems like it's doing the same exact thing as it did previous to the new pump.
