Question 215/55R16 tires on 16x7.5 wheels?

hello-
my alero has 225/50R16 tires on 16x7.5 wheels. i know that 215/55R16 tires can fit the wheel, but are 4.6% narrower and 2.3% larger in diameter; will these tires adversely effect steering/handling/suspension?

Maybe a little less grip, and less torque due to the larger diameter, but the difference will not be great.

Anyone have a set of 19inch wheels and tires? If so what brand and sizes for both? How is the ride quality? Lets see some pics

you are not happy with your wheels and sand tires. What would you recommend? I am looking for a set for a dunes trip coming up and need some input from anyone who has itThanks

Are you taking an Olds Alero to the dunes?

I think Neetala09 doesn't pay much attention to reading comprehension. I just moved a post of about wanting a pony from a topic dealing with air conditioning.
