99 alero 3.4l over heating ???
 
i bought this alero and it over heated so i replaced the head gasket lower intake and under intake gasket, and it is now stitting coolant out of the over flow when it gets warm, i have tried to bleed the air out and still no luck is ther somethig that i am missing

i have replaced the heads with a pair off a good running motor that i saw and made sure did not over heat, i am still having the same problem i dont have a clue why it is still spitting out of the over flow

You may have cracked the block. They tend to crack between the cylinders. Or there is still air in the cooling system. There is a bleeder screw on top of the water pump housing, start the car and open the bleeder. Let it run for a while with the bleeder open till just coolant comes out. It will kinda sputter out when there is air in the system. Just watch the temp gauge while you do it.
