I cannot find the ECU in the my Alero at all. I have looked all over for it. Can someone tell me where to find the ECU?


I am also looking for a super chip or somthing in that nature to help increase the performance of my car can anyone help me out?

Don't do it!! I put one in and the service engine light came on and engine started to make strange noise. Took it off and engine light still on

That could be because the ECU was programed wrong. And my service light comes on with the original ECU and therewere no problems with th ECU or the car itself at that time according to the readers that I used (my friends and a garages). I cant even take a fairly tight turn with out my car flipping out, but maybe thats just my car.

Sorry for the hijack, but jfhunter, you need to look at the wiring harness that runs by your steering rack, and the wiring to the front wheels. They are a very common problem area.
