Our 2003 Alero fan speed switch quit working on all settings except high speed. Is this the switch that needs to be replaced or is there some electronic module that the switch controls that needs to be replaced?

It is NOT the switch. There is a resistor module under the passenger compartment that goes bad and needs replacing. About a $20 item.

Thats correct, Blower resistor. There is a wire harness that clips into it, unclip that the undo a couple of screws or bolts. Pull out the resistor and replace it.
