My wife drove the car home and shut it off. She wen't to start it 20 seconds later and it woudn't start. It will turn over fine.Sounds the same when it's cranking but no kicks.I tried to put it to the floor and made no difference.Could this be a fuel pump ? I'm guessing it's not a filter because it should have shown some signs of poor fuel pickup first. Anyone experience this ? HELP ! I also remember the car quitting one day about 4-5 months ago while it was running but no problems till now.hmmmmm.....

lean down along the back of the car, and have her turn the key to the on position, but not start it..see if you can hear the electric fuel pump

Is your security light on your car? That will cause your car to stall until you reset the security.

You've probably figured that out by now since its been a while since the post.Edited by: Patrick Simmons
