I had my mechanic check out my brakes recently and he said the brakes are in good shape. Anyway, the sensor light for the Anti Lock first started up a couple of months ago like every few days for a while. Then I checked the Owner's Manual and found the fuse box diagram and pulling what fuses I could with the key out of the ignition. Any ideas on how I can pull the primary Anti Lock fuse out? What type of tool/puller do I need to unlock or unseat and then put in back in. I'm hoping I can get these to recycle, if there's such a thing as ? Any advice is welcome'd. Thanks, |
The Antilock light may not reset even with the fuse pulled. You can try to disconnect the negative battery terminal for a few minutes to clear the computer's memory, but even that will not clear all codes. You need to have someone hook up a scan tool and find out what's going on with the ABS system. I had a brake system light in my Impala, and it turned out to be low brake fluid. Check that first. |
