My daughter just tried to fill up her old Alero, and she said the gasoline kept back-splashing up the line and out; the tank would not fill. Her friend, the prior owner, said it did this when it got really hot. The car sits outside, and it's been really hot here the last couple of days. Has anyone seen this happen? Is it dangerous? Is there anything we should do about it, other than park it in the garage or in the shade and let the car cool off?
