Fuel pump help
 

I cannot start my alero. I can crank but no start or fire. I believe it is a fuel issue because if I spray ether in intake it will fire. Replaced fuel pump, still no fire. Jumped fuel pump relay no fire. I do have the security fix with a resister inline. I am wondering maybe still getting issues with no security light now ?? I tried different relays. If I do jump the wiring at the pump I hear it run, when I jump at relay I can also hear. I have not checked pressure due to no Schrader valve. I have a gauage but the filter is so rusted it has welded to line. I really don’t want to change line just to put a tee for a gauge but maybe I have to. I am thinking maybe a clogged filter but don’t think so when key on I am not hearing a prime???? Stumped
