Default Mpg

Just looking to see what everyone is getting in Miles Per Gallon (MPG). I have a '99 Alero 2.4 Liter mid 30's on the highway at 70 MPH.

My 3.4 used to get around 28, mostly highway driving. Now that I moved to 3 miles from work, I get about 17 because the car never has a chance to warm up.

I have this MPG calculator thing I picked up at a car show, helps determine your MPG based on when you fill up, km's traveled (Canadian) ...
Anyways, its MUCH lower than what you guys are putting up, which makes me believe that the "Check Engine" light that's on my dash might actually mean something ...

Going to have to take a look.
