Ok, I have a 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass that is slowly dying and aging very fast lol.

I spotted a 2004 Olds Alero GL with 74k miles on it, at the local Carmax dealer. It looks good and I see no problems with it. Runs good, interior is clean.

Any thing I should check about the 3.4? What should I expect from it? I really like the car, I get a 4 door roomy car, with power lol.

Thanks

Just make sure they have changed the lower intake manifold gaskets and the brakes aren''t warped.

And check to make sure the power windows all work, with no funny noises.

yeah dude, almost all of those things had to be replaced on my car. My mom got me a 2000 alero 2 door. it only had 50k miles on it. So it was basically new, just aged. we had to replace both motors for the windows, hub bearings, water pump, manifold gasket, ect. so now it's basically brand newwww. =]
