Check for spark & fuel if no spark check crank sensor, & coil, no fuel check if u hear the f/pump starting to prime up, or go onto fuel/rail & press in shrader valve & have someone crank motor over & see if u have fuel coming out. Is it a crank no start or no crank no start?

After the start attempt, is the security light flashing? If so, you have a passlock problem.

Let the car sit overnight. then, turn the key to the on position without going all the way to start. You should be able to hear the fuel pump in the tank run for a couple seconds.

How does it run once it eventually starts (assuming it does eventually start)?

My first thought is fuel filter with fuel pump in close second (there's an "anti-drainback" valve in the pump).

Just thinking....

A dirty fuel filter can cause that problem as well as the fuel pump.
