I have a 01 Alero, We have been having troubles with this car for some time now. Now it will not start. It has done this before, but after sitting for a few days it would start right up. Any answers? How can I tell maybe if the timing is off? What should I look for if anything before i take it to the shop again? Looking for some help here guys and or gals?< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-46";

HAVE YOU HAD AN ANALYSIS OF THE SYSTEM PERFORMED ( OBD II ). THAT WOULD SHOW YOU WHAT DIRECTION TO START. BY NOT START DO YOU MEAN NOT TURN OVER ( THE ENGINE ) . WHAT ARE THE MILES , HAS A TUNE UP BEEN PERFORMED IF SO TO WHAT EXTENT ? MORE INFO PLEASE???

What engine do you have?

Do you hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds when you turn the key to "on", not "start"?

Are there any lights on (security, check engine, etc.) after a start attempt, or before?

What was the problem you had previously, and was it fixed?
