I have a 95 Aurora. Every time I try starting the vehicle, I can hear the fuel pump starting to put fuel threw the lines, and the car wont start. I keep trying to start it, one try after the other, and eventually it will start. Now that it is winter it takes at least 15 - 20 turns before it actually starts. Once it wont start and I let go of the key I hear a multiple knocking noise under the hood. I believe the noise is coming from the Idle Speed Sensor. The vehicle only gave me a message once saying check charging system. I had it checked out at a Murrays with there machine the checks the Starter & Battery, and they said everything was fine. I have no idea what the hell is going on with my ride. If any body had similar prob's with similar symptoms please let me know how u eventually fixed it.

 

HOW MANY MILES SINCE LAST TUNE UP AND WHEN WAS FUEL FILTER CHANGED?? ARE YOU HEARING THE FUEL PUMP OR THE LEVEL RIDE SYSTEM ? WHEN YOU HAD IT CHECKED DID ANY CODES SHOW?? ANY FUEL LEAKS?? ANY FUEL SMELLS ??? [img]smileys/smiley4.gif[/img]
