97 aurora info center

My information center on my 97 aurora only works sometimes. It may display "date not available" or it may work fine. If anyone can shed some light on this please help.

that may run on a seperate module...which could be a wiring issue...or something is just going bad..do things reset when it craps out?

Sometimes it resets, but it never holds the information. I think something is going bad. Hopefully not the brain or something to that effect.
