I'm having problem with my blinkers. They suddenly just quit working.
Everything illuminates (interior blinkers in dash, as well as everything outside) but no blinking.I have checked all of the bulbs as well as all of the fuses and all are intact. I've checked the fuses under the back seat and under the hood too. It's driving me crazy and there's no way I'm taking my precious baby to a mechanic in this town, (they're notorious for test driving your car afterwards and rodding on it pretty hard.) HELP ME PLEASE!! |
by blinkers i assume you mean the directional signals ? or do you mean the hazard lights.
|
Both the directional signals and the hazards are out of commission. The
hazards don't work at all and the blinkers come on but do not flash. |
I forgot to mention that my car is a '99 Aurora, the last year of the gorgeous
body style. |
< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" =text/> </> my immediate thought would be the flashers or a loose ground , i am not sure if there are more than one flasher on the auto. < =text/> _uacct = "UA-939292-46"; urchinTracker(); </> |
< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" =text/> </> If your car is wired the same as the Inruiges of that vintage, then the flasher for the turn signals and hazzards is the same unit. it does not look like a conventional "can" type flasher and has many more pins. Mine looks like a relay and is located next to the Body Controll Module in the left front kick pannel.Unfortunately this is probobly a dealer Item. < =text/> _uacct = "UA-939292-46"; urchinTracker(); </> |
