my drivers side ac stopped working. it stills blows air, but it is hot. the passenger side is working fine. i read somewhere that maybe the vent motor is bad. this car has me stumped. any suggestions?

 

The aurora has a split system and you are probably low on freon on the driver side...I just had this same thing happen to me.


A quick trip to Walmart for some 134 and an adapter to shoot it in and Im good to go.


By the way I am no mechanic and make no claims that this is your problem. But it did fix my problem for under $50! Worth a try.

if the vent motor was bad, it wouldnt blow at all...however, if you have dual zone climate control, it could either be what was said above, or a controller issue on the drivers side
