I havean 97 OLDS Aurora. I replaced both O2 sensors and I still get P0137 & P0131 Bank1 sensor 1 & 2 low SES on . Car has New plugs and new wires fuel filter 1 year old and when that happens car suffers aminor loss of power

Any suggestions welcome hope someone had seen this happen.Vehicle also had the fuel rail replaced with the metal version.

Thank you

This code(PO137) is for low voltage on 02 sensor #2, post catalytic converter.
Several things can cause this condition.
1- A bad sensor
2- lean condition caused by vacuum leaks, low fuel pressure, inaccurate MAF (mass airflow <BR soft>sensor)
3- poor fuel quality
4- possible inefficient cat. Converter, but this will usually give a different code.
A scanner to read data is really the key to diag. this code. The main test is to disconnect sensor, ground the low reference circuit, and look and scanner data to verify voltage range. If passes, then pcm and wiring are all good. Some common areas of vacuum leak are at the throttle body gasket, PCV hose, lower intake manifold gaskets.

PO131 means the O2 sensor''''s voltage is low. It is caused by, 1-Faulty o2 oxygen sensor, 2-Short to voltage on O2 signal circuit, 3-High resistance or open on O2 signal circuitEdited by: rustyballs_69
