So i hive a 97 rora and shes pretty peppy for her age and size might i add but ive come to find out that there is no performance aftermarket parts for this engine, dont get me wrong i love that lil 4.0 but all my best friends have these quik little cars and my battle ship packs a punch butcant keep up so i was doing some resaerch and the cadilac deville and sevilles of the 95-98 year rang are on the same platform as the classic aurora so i was thinking about dropin the 4.6 from a cadi and findin a good tranny or just beefing the stock one up a lil and trowing some heads cams and a intake on it and possably a supercharger. so does anybody out there know, or heard of it being done, and if it cant let me know so i dont gut another olds for nothin.

You could use any Northstar engine from 96-99 in your 97 Aurora. You won''t need to upgrade your transmission; they both use the 4T80E.
