<div id="post_message_21602">Help, my car is possessed. In the evening
(or anytime of the day), when the car is turned off, and just sitting
there, the headlights will randomly start flashing on and off. They
will continue to do this until they drain the battery completely. If
you go out to the car, you will hear a clicking noise, coming from the
dash, on the left side of the stearing wheel. My kid swears that the
car is possessed, and does not want to drive it...lol

I have taken it in to the dealer, but it doesn't do it all of the time, and naturally doesn't do it when they are looking at it.

Any ideas? Obviously some kind of electrical problem, but what, and will it cost me a small fortune to fix it?

Thanks...</div>

My '97 was doing the exact same thing. The solution was the daytime driving light module. Mine had the clicking noise and everything. For a while I had to unplug the box at night, but it finally melted the connectors. Some people say cleaning the connectors will fix it but this did not work for me. I called around, found one at a junk yard for 20 bucks, fixed the problem. They were over a 100 dollars new at the dealership and they had to order it. Pull off the cover under the drivers side dash. It is up there on the right side of the column. Real easy to fix buy yourself.
