1993 Bravada issues
 

Hello! This is my first post. I have acquired a VERY clean white with Blue leather 1993 Bravada, 4.3 Vortec, with 90K miles. Its got a couple electrical issues:

When the headlights are turned on, they alarm like when you leave them on after turning off the vehicle, even while running. Should not be too hard to sort -Bad switch, I?m guessing,

The truck runs fine, but the transmission will not shift on its own. Each gear functions properly, when selected. It?s got the 4L60E, so I?m needing to check for voltage at the plugs on the trans.

Otherwise, almost everything else seems to function. The trans issue is the biggest problem, and needs to be tackled first before I go through anything else.

I will also use the search function, to see if this has already been addressed.
