Default 1968 cutlass manual steering box removal

Well hello guys again, I still have that 1968 Oldsmobile cutlass with a 69 toronado 455 in it. Well this car does not have power steering and I have a guy who is willing to sell me a power steering gearbox off a 1971 cutlass so I can convert my '68 to power steering. I still have the original power steering pump and lines off the toronado I pulled the motor from but I've never attempted this before. The Guy selling me the gearbox is saying its a easy bolt on match. But, I want to ask the forum if there are going to be any other problems encountered to do this and if I need any other parts off that 71 that I'm getting the power steering gear box off of. Thanks for any help!

I'm unsure if the Toro pump brackets will work properly on the Cutlass. Other than that it should be a bolt on. Make sure you get the box with the pitman arm because the manual one is different.

One thing you need to confirm is the lower part of the column. I'm pretty sure they are the same and just require a different rag joint.

You should be able to sell that manual box by the way. A lot of guys that drag race will want that.
