1969 Cutlass Tail Lights
 

My tail light lenses have a piece of "chrome" trim on them. The replacement lenses do not come with this trim. Is there a safe way to remove the trim from the old ones and transfer them to the new lenses? This is my first post so this may have been answered before but I could not find anything doing a search.
