1969 Olds Cutlass coolant tank
 

Hello to the Olds community.
This is my first post as a new member and sure I'll be visiting often seeking out wisdom and know-how.

I have just purchased a 1969 Olds Cutlass convertible. Never thought I would own a car like this! Looking forward to having it on the road!
So, I am searching for parts to replace those that are broken or missing and for a reputable source for future parts.

Right now I am looking for the missing radiator coolant overflow tank. Found a coolant tank kit online from a vendor the previous owner used called the Original Parts Group for over $300. Ebay was almost as much.

Was wondering if there was a coolant tank from another vehicle that other people may have found to work and have used instead of paying $300+ for an original coolant tank. Really just needs something that works, fill the space that looks like it belongs there.

Also looking for the tongue or hood extension made of metal. Seems to be several ABS plastic ones out there but prefer metal.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and eager to hear any suggestion on sources for parts that offer quality at a descent price.
