i just built a 68 350 motor my self .. bored .30 over .. new pistons , new cam shaft , got heads machined , got my crank machined and balanced , new camshaft ( comp cams ) and lifter set , new push rods , bearings , edelbrock 600 cfm carb , basically new everything and my advice to you would be to send your heads out for machining with your crank , get new pistons of course if your boring it out , get comp cams , i spent atleast 2grand on my motor alone .. new water pump, fuel pump, headers , distributer (hei ) and gotta go with a edelbrock carb .. holleys are more for racing but if its going to be a daily driver .. go with the edelbrock all day ! send me your email address and ill send you some pics of my car and motor joinedasone9603@aol.com .. my email
