1972 cutlass Convertible
#1
I just purchased a 72 convertible project car. The body is from texas and very solid however it is missing quite a few pieces. I will need a parts car . So my question is, is there a lot of different parts other than the obvious between a coupe and a convertible? Should I be looking for just a convertible for parts? Some of the big things I need are buckets(I was told these are different) console complete dash except pad 1 rear side glass hardware for both rear windows front nose setup etc. If I had to buy all the parts separate I just would cost too much. Any advise is appreciated.

Consoleis the same as 70 and 71. Bucket seats are the same as 70 and 71, except for the pattern of the stitching. Rear glass and mechanism are the same for Cutlass Supreme (70 and 71). Grills are different from 70 and 71 but the stoneguard and headlight surrounds (plastic part)are the same as 71.
Did you already getthe car? I live in San Antonio andhave72 buckets, console, glass and mechanisms, and some (not all) grill pieces.

Yes I alrady have the car. I have a line on console and buckets out my way. however I am looking for a parts car beacuse there is quite a few pieces missing, and I know it will add up too much to get them all individually.
