1986 olds timing

1986 cutlass 307 auto. quadrajet. i was going to check the timing on this engine. on the lable on the fan shroud it states that to check timing you have to; start engine and ground C-3 diagnostic lead. does any one know where this C-3 diagnostic is located. thanks. john
