It's a friends car, 1992 Cutlass Supreme S 3.1

The car was stalling out whenever it was warm, and we were told this was
likely the problem. The bugger was really in the block, and got broken off
at the sealing ring when I was trying to pull it.

Anyone experience this? How should I remedy it? I'm at a loss-- Remove
the transmission pan? Just pay someone?

What could be the original problem if this sensor wasn't it? How do I read
codes from the computer? I'm not a GM guy heh heh

Sorry I can't help you out with the sensor, but once you get it back together you can get the codes read for free at Auto Zone.

Have you tried drill a hole in it and screwing a self tapping screw into it and then pull on the scresw to remove it?
