99 Cutlass Ignition/tranny
 

I have a 99 Cutlass with a 3.1 V6 auto. When we shift it into park it will not go all the way in and then we can't pull out the key. We thought it was the ignition and replaced it. But that did not help. I need to know if it is the tranny, linkage adjustment or maybe the neutral safety switch going out. Appreciate any suggestions/assistance. Thanks.

Sounds like it's the linkage. Maybe there is a broken engine mount. That would effect it. Good luck.
