Hi, I have a 69 Cutlass Convertible. I am switching from 14" to 15" standard rims and wonder what tire size is best for my situation. Keeping it simple since car may be used in business situations. What tire might be a better fit for the car/wheel, 215/70 or 215/75? Thanks, MattEdited by: Matt69Conv

THIS IS SIMPLE , GO TO A REPUTABLE TIRE DEALER AND EXPLAIN WHAT YOU ARE AIMING TO ACCOMPLISH. TELL THE DEALER YOU WANT TO KEEP THE OVERALL DIAMETER THE SAME WHEN YOU CHANGE FROM 14 INCH TO 15 INCH TIRES . IF YOU KEEP THE DIAMETER THE SAME YOU WILL NOT NOTICE ANY CHANGE IN YOUR OLDSMOBILE PERFORMANCE OR HANDLING. YOU WILL HOWEVER NOTICE A MORE DISTINCT LOOK FOR YOUR OLDSMOBILE. 15 INCH WHEELS SIMPLY MAKE THE TIRE / WHEEL ASSEMBLY LOOK LESS WHIMPY. GO FOR IT YOU WILL LIKE THE RESULTS. I HAVE ACCOMPLISHED THIS ON MANY DIFFERENT AUTOS WHILE IN THE TIRE AND WHEEL BUSINESS. MOST IMPORTANT GO TO A REPUTABLE TIRE DEALER WITH A KNOWLEDGE OF TIRE SIZES.
