< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" =text/> </> Hi all, I am hoping that someone has some experience with this question, and, if I cannot find it here, looks like I won't find it anywhere. I have had every model Cutlass since the '70's. Didn't mean to, just happened to find these cars met every need I ever had. Great car and am sorry to see it go. Anyway, I currently have a 1999, Olds Cutlass, V6, automatic transmission. I work on my own cars, and have a code reader. Don't recall the code at the moment, but I believe it had to do with the air injection pump. Need to get it fixed b/c I live in Maryland and am coming up for an emissions inspection. Question: I am at wits end trying to find a new pump on the web. Not too enthrawed with dealer pricing, and none of the local stores stock it. Has anyone every found a replacement? One for a Malibu will probably work, but cannot findone fora '99. Two, does this car havea secondary and a primary air pump? If so, can you tell which has failed. Three, does anyone know where the pump is located. I am thinking behind the wheel well. I would be very appreciative for some thoughts. I long for the days without emission controls...Raven < =text/> _uacct = "UA-939292-46"; urchinTracker(); </> |
