I dont know how to explain this, but my you know how door handles are shaved off as a mod? Well my ugly olds logo was shaved off with the key hole onthe trunk when it was painted.


Last weekend when i went to hit the trunk button on my 1987 Olds Cutlass Brougham the damn thing won't pop open after I went through the car wash. This is a car wash that sprays underneath. I dont know if that was what caused it or if it could be the trunk lid motor.


I havent tried to pop it because its in winter storage now, but it could have dried underneath and be working now. Now how do i go about getting into the trunk? Do i remove the rear seats and crawl in? Where do the trunk wires run? Are they color coded so i can follow them underneath? Is the ground attached to the chassis below? Thanks~

 

Thanks for all the replies. I took out the backseat, crawled in the trunk, and it was a bad connection to the motor. Ahh fixed.
