Does anyone know what causes the backlit dash lighting on a 95 Cutlass Conv. to dim? I've adjusted the brightness with the dial near the headlight switch, but the dash lights sill seem fairly dim. Are there bulbs that burn out and need replacing, or can the dash unit get dirty, which may cause the lighting to be dimmer? How complicated is it to fix this kind of a problem? I've been looking on the internet for some instructions on the dash lighting for the 95 Olds. Cutlass, but haven't come across anything yet. If you know of any good sites which may have info on this, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks for your help.

We have a 95 Cutlass and we have no dash lights at all, we have replaced the light stw that has the dimmer wheel built into it (junkyard stw)! The fuse is good. Any one else have a fix for this?Edited by: Ryano
