I have a 1988 Cierra with 3.8 The car will start buut runs better when warned up, but not like it is supposed to. I have replaced the plugs, plug wires, all 3 coils (lifetimers) new starter, fuel filter and exahust system from converter on back. No luck! A mechanic hooked it up to a machine and found no significant problem. Thre car idles fine after warm up but has hesitation when driving. Sometimes stalls. Any ideas what I can tell a mechanic to look for in this case?

If he fixes it I'll get back on and let ya know what the problem was.

Well...problem turned out to be a faulty "mass air sensor".
