power brake conversion kit

Restoring a 1969 olds cutass convert...I added a power disc brake conversion kit from mpbrakes.com (d41741p). I am looking to purchase a set of SSII wheels from specialtywheel.com and moving to a 15x7 wheel. I know that the 14" wheel do not fit. Has anyone used a simialr setup and used specialty wheels? I just don't want to buy them and have to return them and pay a shipping cost. Nobody local has them...any suggestions?

?? These cars came stock with 14" wheels with the disk breaks. The only A-body from 68-72 that ever came with anything other than 14" wheels was the Hurst Olds in 68 and 69.

This is straight from their website:
"For 1964-1972 Chevrolet, Buick, Oldsmobile and Pontiac mid size cars; 1968-1979 Chevy Nova, Buick Apollo, Olds Omega and Pontiac Ventura; also 1967-1969 Chevy Camaro and Pontiac Firebird. Must have 15" drum brake wheels or 14" disc brake wheels or larger."

The stock 14" wheels in 69 will fit just fine. There was no distinction that year for disk and drum wheels. 68 was that last year for that.

disc brakes

Many moons ago I picked up a 70 wreck with disc brakes I converted the spindles and picked a set of 70 ss1 wheels up everything worked out fine. Now I also would like to pick up a set of 15" wheels.
Tell the vendor what you are doing they will help.
