I have a 1993 cutlass supreme sl, and my blower ( i guess that is what it is called) does not work when I turn on the heat, and press the buttom for the fan to blow harder...that does not work...not when the car is moving heat is coming out of the vents, but i assume that is because of air getting into the car from outside.


my question is....where is the blower located ? I am trying to figure it out so that I can see if I can replace this blower myself....somebody let me know.

blower motor should be mounted on the firewall under the hood.
passenger side i believe on most cars. give it a couple taps when ur
cars running, it just may work, but its still shot.. Go to the wrecker
or your local parts store and buy a new one. Couple bolts and a
electrical connection and your done. ez man trust me! have fun!

Hey, The blower IS mounted passenger sideby the firewall. I had the same problem and the first thing you have to do is to check and make sure the connections are rust free, play around with them a bit and if you can get the blower to go on while playing with thewires, then its wiring. If not, get a new blower.My blower did not work and it was just rusty connections. Good luck and hopethis helped.
