Stall out issue with 79 Cutlass Supreme.
 

Hello All.

As mentioned in the intro forum. I purchased a 79 Cutlass yesterday that runs somewhat good. After getting it home, the valve cover gaskets were replaced due to a leaking oil issue. Today after running for about a half hour on a rainy day the engine kept stalling out after every stop light and sign. I plan on doing a tuneup and oil change over the weekend. Just the basics of my current vehicle knowledge.

My question is what are other possible reasons for stalling out? Hopefully someone else has had similar issues and can point me in the right direction.
