Strange emblem
 

I found 1987 4 of this emblem in west Canada.
A friend told me maby end of -70´s Oldsmobile Cuttlas.
Why is there a lot of European flag?
I am grateful if somebody can help me there.

1973-77 Cutlass Salon Fender Flags Emblem

I know I'm a new user here, and I know my opinion doesn't carry much weight, but if I remember correctly, that was a badge of honor of sorts, "Look at us, we sold this car in all these countries.

Basically (I think) it indicates the country that car is sold in. USA, Canada, Mexico, Switzerland (I think), and some others I can't identify.

I was only found on the Cutlass Salon and I think it was only 75, 76 and 77. It was on the fenders underneath the script emblems.

do u have more knowledge on the cutlass salon. i am in the process of purchase now and have a couple of ?'s..any help would be appericated

No, i got this when i empty 3 junkyards in Canada 1987 on their emblem.
There was a lot of them, and i have sold out the most of it on internet.
