I have a 1998 oldsmobile 88 with the 3800 series V6. I was driving home yesterday and the check engine light lighted up. After that the car started running real rough, mainly at idle or going up an incline. So today I took the spark plugs out and (started crying), coolant just poored out of the cylinder. So my question now is. Do you think the problem is a head gasket, or intake manifold problem that these engines are so famous for. Also if just a manifold problem, would it be something I would want to try to fix myself (fairly mechanicaly inclined). Thanks, Im a college student and need the car to get to school. Nicholas. |
