I am not new to oldsmobile, however I am new to the eighty-eight. I just got my hands on a 1985 delta 88 in really good shape. The odometer reads a little over 78k but I think it may have rolled over once. What I was thinking about doing was changing out the 3.8 V6 for a V8, possibly a hemi if my funds allow. What I want to know is A: has anyone ever heard of this being done? B: Is it even a good idea? and C: Would it be difficult?
